Anei toku Never poems.
i pai toku hanga i tenei i katakata hoki.
I would never eat six soggy shrimp
I would never wear a shaggy snake shirt
I would never buy a skinless shark
I would never shoot a sick snail
I would never go shopping in Shannon
I would always save a sad sack
And I will never shave someone silver sheep on sunday
Kia ora Te Naera,
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed listening to your recorded poem. I think it’s important to consider how we present.. Your presentation would have been very different if you were sitting up with a shirt on, either at a desk or without pillows in the background. When someone presents sitting up facing the camera attentively their voice carries different and the audience receives the message differently. I didn’t mention it with your joke’a’thon because there is a time and a place for casual and there is a time for a more formal approach. Imagine our news presenters coming into our lounges from their bed 😂I did, however, as I said at the beginning, I enjoyed your poem. I was very fond of the line about looking after the sad sick snail.
